For the longest time, I didn’t know how to create a fliipping stock locator in Oracle Inventory. I was always hung up on the list of values. Turns out, there are two steps. First, add it to the list of values. This is maintained as a Key Flexfield Segment (KFF), which my accounting brain limited to only GL flexfield value sets. Yes, there are KFF’s in each module. Stock Locator is a KFF for Oracle Inventory. Go figure.

Step 1: Add the new Stock Locator to the KFF value set.

Step 2: Assign the new Stock Locator to the applicable Subinventory( or Subinventories)

Et voila! New Stock Locator added!
