A project is made up of many smaller components. the task work breakdown structure represents the hierarchy and chronological order in which these tasks will be executed.

 if you haven’t done so yet, you should go through the project questionnaire and also map out your task work breakdown structure on paper first before you put it into the system.

 There’s a couple things that you should keep in mind:

1. Only the lowest level tasks are chargeable. This means that when you accept transactions on to your project, they can be only applied to the very lowest task.

2. You can also have multiple layers a task hierarchy on your work breakdown structure. You are not just limited to top tasks and lowest tasks. You can have many layers or levels of groups of tasks in between.
